Adjustments Immersion for Yoga Teachers

This Adjustments Immersion is for Yoga Teachers who would like to further develop their teaching skills and offer a ‘hands on’ approach to teaching yoga. The course encourages you to be more interactive with your students and allows you to be confident with the skill of assisted stretching.
Adjustments are an integral part of the traditional practice of Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Flow and Rocket Vinyasa. The teacher puts pressure onto the student to help gain deeper access into a posture.
The course will take place in Liverpool and is fully registered with Yoga Alliance. This is a module of the 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training program. Otherwise, the hours can be used as CPD hours for the Yoga Alliance membership. Moreover, the course is a fun way to develop teaching skills. The course can be taken if you simply want to deepen knowledge and practice. Students will receive a certificate on completion of the week’s training.
I completed the 50 hours Adjustments Immersion with Julia at The Yoga Academy in July this year! It was SUCH a helpful course and went into a lot of alignment specifics and teaching techniques that weren’t covered in my 200 hours. I did a multi-style 200 hours and it was a real confidence boost to dive a bit deeper before sharing with my own students.

- Learn how to adjust integral postures
- Know the Science of Stretching
- Understand physical limitations and be able to give give effective modifications
- Deepen your own Vinyasa Flow practice through posture analysis and adjustments
