Yoga Anatomy Immersion

A week of playful practice and anatomical revelry!!

Need some Yoga Anatomy? Looking for a fun and energising week of Yoga in Liverpool? Wanna understand more about the anatomical details of how you move? Need to know more about the nervous system and how we can hack our energy levels with uppers and downers? Moreover, fancy hanging out with Julia and Helen for a week of yoga, chats and coffee in Liverpool city centre? Yes? This course is for you!!!

Hence, we are pleased to host a week of Yoga Anatomy. This is an advanced technical course, using Rocket Vinyasa as our practice. Although, students should have a little familiarity with Ashtanga Yoga, this is not essential. However, be ready for a challenging practice.

Significantly, this course will focus on Shoulder Stability and The Spine.

Unquestionably, this advanced yoga course is ideal for yoga teachers and practitioners, who are looking to take practice to another level. While many of you are teaching/practicing Vinyasa Flow and Rocket Vinyasa, this course provides the fundamentals of some of the more challenging poses. Accordingly, we will modify the practice to make it accessible to your physicality and limitations, whilst pushing boundaries to challenge your physical practice.

Can’t commit to the full thing? Why not just join our morning practices OR afternoon technical stuff.

Yoga Anatomy Objectives

  • Advance your practice and tackle postures including The Handstand, The Koundinyasanas, Grasshopper, Flying Pigeon
  • Know backbends and practice more backbends
  • Stabilise your shoulders and spine
  • Understand the nervous system and and how to find balance
  • Transitions and more transitions

Subsequently, this is one of our 300 hour modules and counts as 50 hours towards our 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training.
