Yoga Teacher Training at Rise Studios
Yoga Teacher Training at Rise
6th September to 8th December 2024
The Yoga Academy is delighted to host one of our awesome yoga courses in the hot room at the iconic Rise studio in South Liverpool. This is an incredible opportunity to delve into practice, learn how to teach yoga and discuss how to be a 21st century yogi. The course will be centred around the fundamentals of Ashtanga Yoga and the key postures that we practice. We will explore how practice has evolved through the ages, a manifestation being Hot Yoga. This is a hybrid course with some classes taught in a second venue near Rise Studios.
I couldn’t recommend The Yoga Academy enough! All the teachers are amazing and really supportive. We had the fabulous Julia for most of the course, I love her knowledge, passion & her energy is insane! She helped us break out of our comfort zone and we were all teaching by the end. It was such an amazing experience.
I did my 200 hours with Julia and Helen.
It was the best experience of my life. The training was professional , challenging and fun at the same time. I learnt so much about myself, my body and, of course, about yoga and the practice. I was able to plan and teach a class by the end of the course.
Our Practice
With strong foundations in Ashtanga Yoga, The Yoga Academy has developed a yoga course that combines the prescriptive alignment of Ashtanga Yoga with dynamic, functional movement, ideal for the hot room. We promote the idea of understanding the body with totality to facilitate better mobility, movement and postures. This is very much reflected in our teachings on the YTTC. We are self-confessed ‘anatomy geeks,’ and revel in yoga anatomy. Over the years, we have evolved the concept of an ‘intelligent’ yoga practice. We are passionate about practice in the hot room and revel in its benefits.
