Helen practices and teaches Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Flow and Rocket Vinyasa. She continues to grow and challenges herself through her self-practice, an integral part of her daily life. Yoga has been life-changing in so many ways for Helen. She loves to get upside down and she has dedicated hours of practice to building strength and discipline, finding new and fun ways to challenge herself and her students. Her passion is to share this with students.
Helen has taught Yoga Teacher Training since 2019. She also teaches in the main studios around Liverpool and is known for her signature Power Flows. She has recently introduced Rocket Vinyasa to her teachings and continues to promote this practice. Helen host workshops including Arm Balances, Inversions and Handstands, all of which allow her to share her anatomical knowledge an practice.
Helen completed her 500hr Yoga Teacher Training in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in 2018 in Goa with Julia at Kranti Yoga. She stayed in Goa, soaking up every element of yoga and to grow and learn, becoming a strong Vinyasa Flow teacher. Helen reconnected with Julia in Liverpool during the lockdown and has been an integral part of building a strong and beautiful yoga community in Liverpool.
Helen continues to train and became Rocket Vinyasa certified with Samuel Nwokeka. Alongside Julia, her teachers include Celeste Pereira, Yoga Medicine and Janchivdorj Sainbayar at the London School of Hand Balance.
In a previous life Helen was an event manager for over 10 years. She was based in London for much of this time. This is where she gained her love for travel, organising events around Europe and Worldwide. The long hours and disjointed work life eventually took its toll and she left to travel for a few years. She was then able to dedicate much more of her time to yoga and hasn’t looked back.
This winter, Helen will join Julia in Goa at Palm Trees Yoga Resort where she will lead 300 hrs Yoga Teacher Training in Advanced Yoga Sequencing, Adjustments and Yoga Anatomy.
I graduated from my yoga teacher training with Helen as my Lead Trainer, April 2022. Her guided Ashtanga in the morning left me with a magical feeling for the day. I feel really grateful to have deepened my practice, learning about the body more in depth through anatomy. She has continued to show her support after the training as well. She made the training really special because it was both fun and informative, a very special experience that I will treasure forever 🙏🏼Moon, Liverpool
