Ayurveda and Ashtanga Vinyasa
This 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training Course in Goa will be hosted by Palm Trees Ayurvedic Heritage. It is a 3 week yoga course with a recommended reading list sent out before your arrival. The resort is small and intimate with a maximum of 12 students on this course. The resort sits in the backwaters of Goa and is just a short walk from Patnem Beach.
Ayurveda Course Objectives
- understand the philosophy and practice of Ayurveda
- know your dosha and how to recognise imbablance
- find balance through diet, lifestyle and yoga
- develop a traditional practice of Ashtanga Yoga with a modern twist
- learn how to teach yoga through effective cuing and attention to detail
- sequence a Vinyasa Flow Class using the fundamentals of Ashtanga Yoga
Eligibility
- would like to become a yoga teacher and already have a yoga practice of any style
- have a yoga practice and would like to go deeper and learn more
This course is aimed at those who have been practising yoga for 2 years and would like to participate in a course with similar minded yogis. The course is mentally and physically challenging and students are expected to show discipline and dedication to their studies during their time at the school. The course will be presented with a modern approach.
